Home Sweet Home for Dorothy Lee

After three days of packing and moving, we were finally able to help Dorothy Lee get settled in her new home Friday evening.

Dorothy Lee Best is now living in an adult family home.

She is living in the master bedroom, with her own bathroom.

There are three other women and two other men that live there.

She will have 24 hour care as needed.

The only problem, thus far, is that her cat, Cendy, has not joined her.

Cendy went to the vet today to get updated on her shots and ended up getting "fixed" and having an absessed tooth pulled along with 3 other bad teeth.

This may account for Cendy's onery disposition, lately!!!

Cendy will be spending tonight in the vet hospital and moving in with Dorothy Lee Tuesday morning.

She will be gently and lovingly cared for by her doting Dorothy Lee.

About three weeks ago Dorothy Lee took a fall and cracked her pelvis.

This had made it difficult, but not impossible for her to walk.

She has been using her walker in close quarters and using her wheelchair if she goes out of doors.

Her healing process is more than half over, and she is recovering very well.

We are making her an address photo album--with a picture of each person's entry to make it easier for her to recall who you are.
